{"id":2619,"date":"2024-02-13T18:48:53","date_gmt":"2024-02-13T17:48:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jlmirall.es\/?p=2619"},"modified":"2024-02-17T22:50:02","modified_gmt":"2024-02-17T21:50:02","slug":"the-works-comes-through-by-rhythmic-theory-carla-filipe-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jlmirall.es\/?p=2619","title":{"rendered":"*The works comes through by rhythmic Theory (Carla Filipe, 2019)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Participaci\u00f3n con electr\u00f3nica en la performance de Carla Filipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desarrollada durante la residencia que Carla Filipe realiz\u00f3 en 2015 en la Rauschenberg Residency en Captiva Island (Florida) y adaptada en 2019 para su presentaci\u00f3n en el EACC, The works comes through by rhytmic Theory se vincula con una serie de trabajos que la artista ha realizado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os en torno al proceso de gentrificaci\u00f3n de la ciudad de Oporto. Esta instalaci\u00f3n, construida a partir de grandes serigraf\u00edas sobre tela que registran las texturas del suelo de las calles de esta ciudad, se acompa\u00f1a de una serie de textos-poes\u00eda-pauta escritos mediante la repetici\u00f3n de s\u00edlabas o vocales. A partir de la equiparaci\u00f3n de estos signos con sonidos, se origina una performance que implica a una serie de m\u00fasicos encargados de producir en directo esas correspondencias sonoras.
